某车站X射线行李包检查系统辐射水平分析

Radiation Level of X-Ray Luggage Inspection System in a Train Station

  • 摘要: 目的 检测某车站X射线行李包检查系统外表面辐射水平,进行安全评价和放射性豁免分析。

    方法 使用便携式电离室射线巡测仪,按国家标准规范要求进行布点检测。

    结果 该车站工作人员因X射线行李包检查工作而增加的辐射剂量为76~91μSv/a,远低于放射职业人员连续5年的年平均有效剂量限值20 mSv/a,但高于公众个体受照剂量10μSv/a。

    结论 正常使用X射线行李包检查系统不会对工作人员和旅客造成辐射损害,但不能予以放射性豁免。

     

    Abstract: Objective To determine the radiation level of an X-ray luggage inspection system in a train station for safety evaluation and radioactivity exemption analysis.

    Methods A pressurized microR ion chamber survey meter was used to quantify radiation level of a selected luggage inspection system according to relevant national standards.

    Results The increased radiation level caused by the X-ray luggage inspection system to the station staff was around 76-91 μSv/a, far less than the national exposure standard that allows an average exposure dose over 5 years to radiation professionals of 20 mSv/a. However, this increased dose was higher than the standard for public individuals (10 μSv/a).

    Conclusion The routine usage of the X-ray luggage inspection system does not cause radiation harm to inspection staff and travelers. Nevertheless, the system does not meet the national radioactivity exemption regulation.
