Appraisal Framework of Human Being Health Loss Attributed to Environmental Heavy Metal Pollution

Environmental heavy metal pollution (EHMP) is one outstanding environmental issue arising along China's economic development. The EHMP impacts on residents' health call for urgent solution at national level. We recommend establishing an appraisal framework regarding residents' human being health loss attributed to EHMP including standardized terminology, appraisal procedure, and diagnosis standards. We also recommend the above-mentioned work starting from the leading heavy metal pollutants, such as lead, mercury, manganese, arsenic, and cadmium.
