Abstract: On July 19-20, 2025, the 19th National Postgraduates Symposium on Environmental and Occupational Medicine and the Lanzhou University "Big Health and Interdisciplinary Research" Postgraduates Innovation Conference were successfully held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Under the theme "Research and Practice: Healing the schism," the conference brought together over 120 experts from the Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine and master’s/doctoral students from universities across China to discuss the latest advancements in environmental & occupational medicine and interdisciplinary big health research. A total of 140 submissions from 48 universities were received. More than just an academic gathering, the conference served as a nexus for knowledge exchange, collaboration, built a networking, fostering innovative thinking.
