Objective To study the clinical characteristics of sodium azide poisoning.
Methods Study the clinical manifestation and course of 3 cases of acute sodium azide poisoning.
Results Various clinical manifestations including toxic encephalopathy,peripheral neuropathy and etc.were presented in sodium azide poisoning.
Conclusion There is no specific treatment for acute toxic encephalopathy and peripheral neuropathy,at present.Methyl-prednisolone,hyperbaric oxygen inhalation,oral vitamin B12,and kinesiatrics are the major supportive treatments.
